Thank you for your curiosity — Here are our FAQs
1. What is a treat?
A treat is a research inspired activity, game, reflection or insight that is designed to help you and your partner grow as individuals and as lovers. Each treat touches on different types of intimacy, mainly — emotional, physical and sexual.
Every treat takes less than 15 minutes to do.
Why “treat”? Many couples have told us Gilly time is something that they “treat” themselves to because otherwise, they don’t usually prioritize couple time!
2. How do I access the app?
The Gilly app is currently in beta and we are constantly improving it based on feedback. Sign up for early access to receive your invite link and co-create Gilly with us!
3. Do I need to do this with my partner?
No, it is not mandatory for both you and your partner to sign up for Gilly.
You can still explore the treats in Gilly with your partner having downloaded the app.
That said, there are features that is unlocked only when you both have the app and pair them together!
4. How do I invite my partner?
Once you download the Gilly app and register, you will be able to share the invite link and a unique code with your partner.
They just need to enter the invite code once they have downloaded and registered the app on their phone.
5. Do I/we need to do all of the treats every week?
If you’d like! But it’s not a must.
Life can be unpredictable so we invite you to do whatever feels good for you and your relationship.
We want to add more lightness to your day, not more stress.
6. Is this therapy?
Not therapy! While Gilly is designed with inputs from professionals in related fields, it is not therapy. Its content is provided for information purposes only and is not intended as medical advice, or as a substitute for the professional advice of clinical practitioners.
7. I'm a professional working with couples and I would like to suggest Gilly to them as a tool to complement their work with me. Can I do that?
Yes! This is a great way to use Gilly. Please do not hesitate to contact us at hello[at]getgilly[dot]com if you have any questions or suggestions — we would love to hear from you.
8. Is my information private?
We have taken care to store your data in a way where the interactions you have with the Gilly app cannot be traced back to identifiable data. So if there was a data breach, one would not be able to figure out who said what!
9. Is Gilly free?
While in beta, Gilly is free to use. In the future, it is likely that parts of Gilly will paid. That said, accessibility is an important value for us so parts of Gilly will always be free to use so that as many couples can use it for their relationship as possible.
